Impressive Saturday ceremonies marked the laying of corner stones for the new Masonic temple and the Lancaster Graded School building. Grand Master W. M. Whitehead officiated, with a silver trowel used previously by General Lafay ette. The event included odes, deposits of historical rolls, and a procession from Sythian Hall to the school, followed by a banquet and remarks on masonry and civic ties.
