Fatal Wreck Near Camden On Southern Line
A southbound Southern train wrecked eight miles from Camden last Sunday when the baggage car derailed at a switch and toppled into the side track into a standing freight car. A white tramp sleeping on the side track was instantly killed. Jim Reed a colored brick mason was badly hurt with a broken leg. Mrs E G Taylor and her brother Lewis Clyburn suffered slight injuries. Will Cloyd escaped unharmed. Wreck cleared. trains running but not on schedule.
