Decatur Ga March 6 E C Flanagan who murdered Miss Ruth Stack and Mrs Martha Allen near here in December 1896 died in his cell at 6 20 morning. Flanagan had been twice convicted and sentenced to hang and was awaiting a new trial. He had made two escape attempts since imprisonment and nearly succeeded both times. He has been a wreck for some time and has cost DeKalb county about 10 000 since his arrest.
