Alleged Lyncher Jailed In Salisbury Case

Special to The Observer Greensboro July 13. Judge Shaw issues a bench warrant for a Salisbury man charged with aiding in lynching two negro boys who witnessed the murder of Miss Benson weeks ago. Solicitor Hammer lodged the warrant with Rowan sheriff. the arrest was made last night. Warrant returnable tomorrow at 10. Eleven other men suspected, including a county officer, may be arrested once evidence is sufficient.
