Pursuit of Killer Tracey Captures Wide Attention
In Seattle on July 8, Harry Tracey the prolific killer and the man who has wounded others since June 9 is pursued by about a thousand men and two bloodhounds through rural areas south of Seattle. He escaped a posse at Mrs Gerald’s house near Renton then slipped away into nearby woods. Anderson, held prisoner at Gerald’s yard, was found tied to a tree as the chase resumed toward Palmer and Cedar Mountain. The posse has loaded trains to intercept Tracey’s flight.
