Four-man daylight holdup shocks Evanston scene
Last Friday in Evanston a four man band led by White robbed patrons at a West Side saloon of 150 dollars. They were captured ten minutes after the escape attempt. Officials traced the crime to a gambling table inside the saloon and ordered saloonkeepers to end gambling activities.

A train carrying 210 aviators passed Kemmerer at 1:20 PM Sunday. The disciplined group, described as fit and determined, had trained near Seattle and were bound for the Atlantic before sailing to France. They presented a resolute appearance as they paused in Kemmerer.
