More than 5,000 irrigated acres in Park county and nearby areas will be opened for entry October 9 under the Shoshone irrigation project. Seventy-nine farm units range from fifty to eighty acres, with water-right applications due October 4 to 9 at Powell office. Initial payment five percent per acre, four dollars fifty cents. fifteen installments from six to seven percent follow. Project maps and details available at Powell office. Some units previously opened now fetch two hundred to three hundred fifty dollars per acre.
