Al Gardner of Cokeville received cattle recently purchased from the Green River Live Stock Co. The herd was delivered Thursday by Hert Rood to the Brantiey ranch on Hamefork and taken to the George Watts ranch for temporary holding. Gardner plans to settle in Cokeville with Mia Gardner for the winter.

Going To Idaho School Prof Maire Heads To New Meadows
Prof. A. Maire left this week for New Meadows Idaho to teach school this coming term. He had planned to teach at Glencoe last summer but stayed when the mines closed. With the mines shut down the Glencoe schools closed as well and he will fulfill his original plan at New Meadows.

Shooting Incident in Kemmerer Ends With Guilty Plea
Friday evening a shooting near the railroad yards led Marshal Piz to a cabin where Greeks celebrated. They denied involvement until August Papas confessed and was jailed and arraigned before Justice R. Lee Craig. Papas pled guilty and paid a fine of 25 dollars.

Arrests in sheep theft case tied to Cokeville incident
Special agent Lynne of the 658 district in Kemmerer gathered evidence against suspects tied to a sheep theft from a stock train at Cokeville. The three accused pleaded not guilty and were held to district court in bonds of 500 each. witnesses Casey Collett, W G Thomas, and Haul Richardson testified.
