Official Returns in Lincoln County Primary Election
The official count shows a low turnout with under 1000 votes cast, far below the 4,72 votes in the last general election. Maggie F Nicholson won the Republican contest for superintendent of schools, W J Jensen named clerk of courts, Parley Baldwin won on the Democratic side for clerk of courts, and William T Bhaffer and William Simms were defeated for the house seats. Seven precincts missed elections Morna and Bronx eliminated due to late supplies sent Aug 11 by parcel post, others faced delays. several judges absent or late, no election held at jurant Mason Stanley.
