Lightning Strikes Kill Two Riding Hay Loads
Janes Wilkes returned from St. Charles Idaho after bail for his brother in law death by lightning. He learned a cousin was killed the next day in the same manner while riding a hay load. Mrs Wilkes remains for her father’s serious condition.

Auto Crash Near Evanston Injures Three Travelers
A Pierce Arrow touring car carrying Jay Quealy Pete Keenan and Shirley Eastor left Kemmerer early Wednesday for Fort Bridger then Evanston. High speed and a sharp turn caused the car to overturn several times throwing all three occupants. Quealy and Kastor were injured. Keenan bruised. Kastor aided Quealy to a farmhouse for help. Car damage and repairs will exceed a thousand dollars.

Austrian miner murders wife in Frontier jealous rage
Matt Kasey shot his twenty year old wife on the Frontier road after a marriage dispute and a divorce suit. He fired again after she fell, beating her with the gun. A third shot wounded him as witnesses, police, and a coroner's jury linked his actions to murder. The woman, about twenty, left a child and was buried after a Frontier funeral.
