Local report states Kemmerer area has few flu cases with most patients convalescent. New cases appear in Afton and Cumberland camps while Big Piney reports fatalities and serious conditions. deaths include Sam Royal and Carl Carrela with ongoing care for Mrs Royal. Doctors, nurses, and volunteers praised for epidemic response.
A telegram from Santa Monica confirms Mrs. Mollie Snyder, wife of J W Snyder, has died of Spanish influenza. She had lived in Kemmerer years ago and was survived by her husband, her parents Mr. and Mrs. J W Sammon, and several brothers and sisters.
Citizens are asked to bring fruit pits and nut shells to the Red Cross room at City Hall this week to contribute to an upcoming shipment.
Wagons carried casing for the No 4 Cretaceous well into Kent late Sunday. Mr Lackey spent days between the Foust field and quarantine cams seeking transport to Piney field. The fourth deep well on Cretaceous ground shows log consistency with high grade oil, though water intrusion and lack of equipment hindered operations.
Gus Linden Clar ence Linden and Orlan Kvane sold their lambs to Hateher and Snyder of Denver. Ewes brought nine dollars per head and weathers eight fifty. Lambs delivered at Fossil today.

He recently posed as a doctor frightening a new arrival until fellow patients revealed the ruse. The prank eased when wards learned the truth, and Howard is expected to be released soon.
Mrs Minnie Miller returned to Kemmerer from Cokeville yesterday after hearing news of her brother Phillip Leffler. Leffler, formerly a night clerk at the Haggerty Hotel, recently worked at the Haggerty ranch. His right side is paralyzed though his condition is reported improving.
