Mrs. Wallace Salmon died this month at her parents home in Diamondville after a brief illness. Dr. Tucker diagnosed pneumonia when called Thursday and the condition was serious. Her husband, in France for training with the 46th, had married her about a month before his departure. he is twenty one. Surviving is a brother, T Hunter Salmon.

Influenza Cases Reported at Cumberland Mine

Japanese Cutting Scrape At Jadot Hotel
A near fatal fight broke out Monday morning at Jadot Hotel between three Japanese visitors who had argued all night. One man was cut in the neck, narrowly missing a fatal jugular wound, and required ten stitches at Dr Marquis's office. The other two were jailed, facing preliminary charges in Kemmerer.

Boy's Leg Broken in Runaway Automobile
The small son of Frank Hosenstein of Kemmerer broke his leg in a runaway Elkol automobile. Dr D D Stafford was called yesterday afternoon, treated the boy, and he was brought to the I C M Hospital where his leg was set and he is getting along nicely.
