Auto road finished joins Piney to LaBarge

The Big Piney Examiner reports a new 25 mile auto road from Piney to LaBarge built under Amos W Smith and T J O Neal with Piney Mercantile and local residents contributing. Supervisor Guy Dexter led construction using 14 horses. cost under 500 dollars versus 1500 by contract. The road is praised as a top regional route to game country and fishing lakes.
