Reunion of Cokeville was a visitor in Kemmerer watching departing flocks bound for their winter range north of Rawlins. Parley notes the sheep look strong with no tails among them after a trip to the Omaha market where his load topped competitors by 80 cents. His shipment brought 95.60 per ton.

Cottonwood Lands Attract Buyers In Piney Valley Ditch Sales

Senator W H Taylor spent the week in Kemmerer returning from Kansas City with buyers who purchased 6000 acres out of 10000 under the Cottonwood ditch near Big Piney. Ditch land is sold in 40 190 and 160 acre parcels with over 40 percent of investigators buying. Taylor plans to open an office in Kemmerer near spring and bring parties to the Piney country. About 4000 acres remain under Cottonwood and 4000 acres under North Piney ready for water by June first. Potential large settlement noted in upper Green River valley.

Mr and Mrs E J Beamdly from Granger spent several days last week. Ed Beamdly plans desert sheep moves to fringe until casun open. Bert Mood heads the bunus and notes new fiber growth. Mrs Beamdly runs the farm and reports good garden yields and steady credit.
