Laockey Young disposed of his interests in the Maki and Yang livery stable. A. Murray of Cumberland takes over, bringing long experience and ten locations at Camberlander. Fire at Cokeville devastates several buildings and injures
A Thursday afternoon fire in Cokeville started in LeRoy Finnel’s tailor shop adjoining Haggerty Kennedy’s saloon. Flames spread to the saloon and nearby stores, with Wyman sustaining a severe shoulder burn and Rynell badly burned fighting the blaze. Citizens saved most buildings. Morgan plans a two story brick rebuild. Reynulde and others begin rapid reconstruction efforts.

Deputy Sheriff Gus Rogers of Big Piney is inspecting cattle for the Green River valley association. Postmaster Petrie notes missing first class mail for the Cre post office. A severe arm injury has prompted fire department plans and new equipment to improve firefighting.

P W Olson of Dakeville visited Kemwer r over Wadnewlay week and returned from Missouri. At the Omaha land show Wyoming’s grain and vegetables drew praise as Pete, a diversified farmer, lauded the grain display and praised the winter Emmerer grain developed by Prof Budfum of Worland. He plans to test it in Cakeville next year and noted display sizes and high altitude suitability.

Dennis Water Dies Pioneer of Sweetwater County
Dennis Waters, a Sweetwater County pioneer and longtime senior official, died recently. His funeral was held in Rick Springs on Monday morning last week. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Mrs. D. E. McCurtein of Superior, and a grown son.
