Washington October 31 President Wilson signed Senator Kendrick’s bill amending the stock raising homestead law after Kendrick urged approval in a conference. The act relieves settlers by allowing residences to be established on added entries while living on original entries, aiding arid Wyoming lands. Persistent radical conservationists opposed the measure, but Kendrick’s plea secured passage and preserves the 640 acre homestead act.
