Democrats Carry County In Close State Race
Election returns from Lincoln County show Democrats carrying the county ticket with only the county attorney possibly unsettled. Andrew Morrow leads Morris Hale as Star Valley votes come in, while D. H. Scott appears set to defeat T. Hunter Salmon. Oakley edges Bell in a tight sheriff race, and Miss LaChapelle leads Mrs Rathbun seeking clerk of court. J. A. Christmas leads BR. R. Rose for county prosecuting attorney though uncounted precincts may alter that. Frank P. Cranney and Clarence Gardner seem elected to the county seats.

Funeral services were held Monday at the local Catholic church with burial in the Catholic cemetery. The flu epidemic is under control with no new cases in fourteen days. Authorities plan to lift the quarantine gradually within the district but will impose severe rules for arrivals from outside.
