Plans to Plant 3 Million Fish in Colorado Wyoming Forest Waters
The U S burea of fisherien has applied for 3 000 000 fish to be planted this summer in Colorado and Wyoming national forests. Leadville hatchery to supply 2 100 000 fry for Colorado waters while Spearfish South Dakota and Saratoga Wyoming hatcheries provide fry for Wyoming. Forest officers will stock fish and local residents will help transport from rail points to lakes and streams. Rangers will assist state game and fish departments in distributing fish from state hatcheries.
