The Wyoming State Tribune describes a convoyed fleet of four large troop ships carrying about 26,000 American troops. Ships sail in tandem with battleships on each side, armored cruisers beyond, then destroyers and submarine chasers circling the perimeter. A submarine must pierce multiple lines to attack, explaining why American convoys have not been successfully attacked despite attempts.
Mr A Christmas faced yard chaos when five horses trotted onto his new terrace Saturday night and damaged the area until around five in the morning. The night marshal jailed the animals in the pound and the owner paid to recover the property.
