Local Doctor Murdered Culprit Now in Jail
One of Western Wyoming’s brutal killings occurred in Kemmerer last Friday. Angelo Molinar and others saw a well dressed man enter the Di Giacomo house where the doctor played piano. A shot rang out and the man was seen leaving by Molinar’s kin. The doctor’s body was found in a pool of blood. a slaughtered doorway and wounds noted. Sheriff Bell and Under Sheriff Collet traced the suspect to Diamondville before arrest. The case moved toward Denver after an Opal telegram.

A Fossil court session saw two Macedonians fined 25 and 15 dollars for assault and battery after a squabble. Three women arrested on Saturday night, two from Butte and one from Mamondville, received 25 dollar fines plus costs. Total county revenue from the day reached 115 dollars.

The local draft board received a call Monday for 115 more men to be sent to Fort Logan at Denver for training. Notices have been issued, with most Class 1-A men already called. about one hundred names remain.
