Draft Age Not to Be Changed
An understanding has been reached on the administration bill providing for the draft, and the 31 years limit not to be changed, but the law will provide that as fast as our young men reach the age of 21 they must appear before the board and register for service. An effort was made to extend eligibility from 15 to 25 years, which would create confusion. judgment has kept the law largely as originally passed.
