War Savings Drive Tops Lincoln County Effort
Mrs. PJ Quealy leads Lincoln County War Savings Certificate and Thrift Stamp drive with house to house canvass planned this week. The program urges $4 12 to start a certificate and explains earning $5 back, or over 80 dollars invested growing to 100 in a year. Thrift stamps at 25 cents each unlock a certificate with 16 stamps plus 12 cents. Local business leaders urged to push sales and schools to begin saving accounts for Uncle Sam.
