Not Guilty Verdict in Hamlin Case and Local Court Updates
The jury returned a not guilty verdict for the State v Horace Hamlin just after 1 a.m. Friday. The State v Jesse Twigs ended with a guilty verdict but leniency advised, one year at Sioux Falls. Additional trials included Ross Thompson, Henry Kruger, and Mrs Whittemore. Thompson was found guilty of assault with leniency in fine. The McGarraugh Jostes cow case resulted in acquittal for Jostes.
