Pioneer Gitizer Chauncey Bradford Dies at 92
Chauncey Bradford born March 29 1833 in Plainfield died at his Joliet home 304 North Broadway yesterday afternoon from a paralytic stroke. He served as justice of the peace and later worked at Joliet National Bank. Funeral at 10 tomorrow from the home with Knights Templar in charge of interment at Channahon. He married Catharine Lewis in 1857. their Golden Wedding was celebrated last April. Survived by four of nine children William of Mazon Mrs Charles Russell Maude and Jessie. Olga Adams a granddaughter. He was known as a quiet gentleman of the old school whose life left a good record. The family of nine had four living. End came after four weeks of paralysis.

Quarrymen Set to Affiliate with Central Labor Council

Lineman Injured In Fall From Ladder At Residence
Frank J. Johnson a Chicago Telephone Company lineman suffered a painful twenty foot fall while on a ladder at 104 Sherman Street Rodney House. The wire gave way causing him to fall. He was taken to St Joseph hospital with a spinal back sprain the major injury. He is expected to leave hospital in a couple of days.

Margaret Ann Paddock Marshall a Will County pioneer and mother of Judge A O Marshall died at 2 AM at her daughter Mrs Sarah Gillett’s home in Homer township. Born November 26 1817 in Onondaga New York she moved to Illinois in 1833 to teach and later married George Marshall. Survived by four sons A G Marshall Joliet Griffin Marshall Marley R W Marshall California and George Marshall Oregon with twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral from the Gillette home tomorrow.
