Man Hurled to Death at Summit Last Night
Charles Horn aged 65? years was struck and killed at 10 oclock by Chicago and Joliet interurban No 265 northbound in Summit. Motorer George Brereton and conductor C E Jones could not stop in time. Horn had just left a road house and stumbled in front of the speeding train. He died before aid could arrive. Horn was a laborer with a wife and family surviving. Traction company officials begin inquiries.

Quarry Workers Seek Union Ties With Will County Council
