The Lincoln Journal notes eight Republicans a Senate majority facing a twenty five member opposition. It lists eighteen demo fusion senators, one on Democratic ticket, and eight Republican. House composition shows sixty eight fusionists and thirty two Republicans. Fusionists total forty, with twenty three pops and five democrats. Senate includes thirteen farmers, six lawyers, two editors, and several others in unclear categories.
The village of Diller Nebraska enacts an ordinance taxing licenses to keep rooms for malt and vinous liquors. The $200 annual license applies to any person firm or association operating such rooms within the village. Violations carry fines up to $100, or up to thirty days in jail, with daily penalties for successive offenses.
Probate notice from Nebraska in Fairbury outlines William H. Mathias petition and asks recipients to show cause why prayer should not be granted. Notices ordered to be published weekly at a three cent price for three successive weeks. County Judge oversees the proceedings.
