Pension Law Changes for Civil War Soldiers

Chautauqua July Fourth Week Program Details

Days Named for Presh Beef at Nebraska Eateries

Food Administrator Wattles orders Nebraska hotels to observe designated days and meals for presh beef. Monday lunch roast beef, Tuesday dinner beefsteak, Wednesday and Saturday lunch boiled beef. Noon meals 11:00 to 2:30. evening 5:00 to 1:00. Households urged to cap beef at 1.25 pounds per person weekly with pork substitutions allowed.

Egg Dealers' Licenses Notice Demands Immediate Action

Any dealer in poultry butter and eggs who has not applied must contact the License Division Food Administration Washington to obtain the proper blanks. A letter requesting blanks is sufficient to place dealers within the law.
