Runnin' Wildcats start season strong at Dayton meet
Runnin' Wildcats place 14th out of 31 at the Greater Dayton Classic. Coach Jim Slusser notes progress for a young team after graduating two top runners, citing Steve Barnes in 7th at 16:05 and solid finishes by Gabbard, Chaney, Grubbs, and Hammitt. The fifth man race remains a concern as Hammitt, Moster, Manning, and Jonas vie under 18 minutes. The Cats next race at St Xavier and St Joseph Cleveland.
