Allman Brothers Gear Damaged in Ohio Crash
A tractor-trailer carrying instruments and sound equipment for the Allman Brothers was damaged in a head on collision at an Ohio weigh station on Monday September 8 after entering the station to be weighed. The second vehicle suffered minor damages. the trailer and gear were undamaged and the truck continued to Cincinnati. Patrolman Hatcher of the Ohio State Patrol investigated.

Fire Deluges Fernald Plant. Heavy Losses Reported
A Fernald fire Monday evening caused extensive damage totaling 175000 dollars. Spray-Dyne Inc lost 100000 dollars of stock and equipment at its Hamilton Ohio plant stored in the Fernald Building. Steelcorp Inc. placed 75000 dollars in losses. Six fire companies fought the blaze. water support saved surrounding structures formerly owned by Walter Carson Lumber and Hardware Co.

Betschers Injured In Head On Crash In Franklin County
Mr and Mrs Betscher were hurt Monday when a car driven by Glen Wells left of center and struck theirs, tossing the Betscher vehicle 21 feet and onto its top. Mrs Betscher suffered facial cuts and a broken rib while Mr Betscher had a broken hip and arm with head cuts. Wells received minor injuries and faces charges of speeding and reckless driving. a warrant will be issued for his arrest as Franklin County police officers Bob Cooley and Lee Davidson investigated.
