Rob Benjamin, a Fort Bragg vehicle driver with the Corps Support Command, has been promoted to private first class. A 1984 Brookville High School graduate, he is stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Weight Watchers guest chef to show low calorie microwave recipes
Harve, a former Weight Watchers executive chef known as the biggest loser after shedding 251 pounds, will visit Everything Microwave to demonstrate free low calorie microwave recipes. Two sessions are scheduled at Beechmont Mall on October 19 and November 9 from 1 to 3 PM, with tasting and Q and A.

Daughters of Isabella Circle 214 Meeting Notes
The Daughters of Isabella Circle 214 met Sept 3 with fair attendance. Members learned the Worthy State Regent may visit, though unlikely due to other circles. Attendance of at least three meetings is required for office. State convention planned Apr 25-26, 1986 in Columbus Ohio. Carnival prizes include 100 dollars and a beautiful oil painting with a 25 dollar third prize. Members asked to help booths and donations. CPR lesson given by Harrison Volunteer Fire Dept. Refreshments enjoyed. Next meeting is Oct 1. attendance hoped for.
