Lions near home spark township debate at Whitewater meeting
Whitewater Township trustees discuss the Lawrenceburg Road lion owned by Keith Warren. Elizabethtown residents fear child safety amid the seven month old African lion cub Leo. Warren defends ownership noting the animal is declawed and well cared for. Trustees consider zoning changes and a possible cage, while zoo officials warn wild animals remain dangerous and unpredictable.
