Body of Bobby Anderson Recovered After River Search
The body of Bobby Anderson was recovered Tuesday after a search of the Rising Great Miami River area near Cleves. Fire units from Cleves, Miamitown, Whitewater, and Colerain Township, plus the U.S. Coast Guard and Cincinnati Police, conducted the rescue, with divers/boats probing a sump area up to 20 feet deep. Anderson, (son of Charles and Debbie Anderson), was swept away Sunday as high water carried youths from the riverbank. The search employed four boat teams and long poles through debris and driftwood as river levels rose rapidly.
