Society Bank offices in Southern Ohio will begin July 12 1983 to offer investors discount brokerage services under the INVESTOR SERVICES program. The joint venture with Third National Bank of Dayton provides an advanced order entry system and verbal trade confirmations, with settlements via bank accounts for customers and check settlements for non customers. Pershing and Company will handle margin and option trading and execute orders quickly at competitive prices.

Oldest Vet program eyed at Ohio State Fair
The Ohio National Guard seeks veterans for the Oldest Vet program at the Ohio State Fair on Sunday August 14 from 11 am to 1 pm in the grandstand. Michael T. Zeiser, Harrison High School senior, has enlisted in the U S Army Delayed Entry Program and will report to basic training at Fort Leonard Wood on June 20 1984 as a combat engineer.
