Principal Carroll Roberts announces freshman orientation on August 21 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM in the auditorium. New students may register August 18 with a counselor. Schedule pickup and fee payment run August 22 to 29. fees may be reduced and a $5 deposit option offered.
The Harrison Jr. Baseball league hosts its All Star Games at Dole Field near Harrison starting with AX at 10 am and CX at noon CX BX D D at 2 pm and 4 pm T Ball at 6 pm. Trophies and individual patches awarded. proceeds benefit the Jr. Baseball League. refreshments available. prizes raffled.
Esther Stone fell at the Harrison post office on 127 Harrison Avenue injuring her right hip. She received local treatment and was taken to hospital in Cincinnati by Harrison Life for further care.
The Harrison Life Squad received a Superior body ambulance on a 1 ton Ford Ranger XLT chassis on Friday August 8 1975 at 7 30 p m. Captain Carl Braun and two lieutenants brought the vehicle from Lima Ohio where Superior Shelter Globe Corp is based. After radio installation and familiarization the unit will enter service. Diana Lynn Grubbs daughter of Fern Grubbs is in Children’s Hospital for tests and is getting along as can be expected. Her room number is 393.
Harrison Elementary opens in the Southwest District on September 3, 1975 for a full day. Office hours run through Friday from 7:30 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4:00 for new students with birth certificates.
Kris Heeter 18 of 3028 Price Ave Cincinnati suffered minor first degree burns to his arm and left ankle when a plastic gasoline container exploded while he poured gas into his car carburetor on New Haven Road near the Paul Crone residence at about 6 00 am Sunday Aug 10 He was treated at the scene by the Harrison Life Squad and transported to General Cincinnati where he was released from the hospital.

Dearborn County deputies search for two male Negroes in connection with an armed robbery and beating at the Thorton Service Station in West Harrison Indiana on August 6 1975. Attendant Robert Snyder was knocked to the ground and a cash drawer was robbed taking about $110 with the suspects fleeing south on State Street.
