East Central High School Spelling Bee Standouts
Jill Blair led East Central seventh graders in the regional Spelling Bee representing Sunman Elementary School last year and competing again among fifty area students. Two other East Central juniors, Tom Daily and Heather Fox, have achieved perfect words this year while Christine Allgeier, Leon Kraus, and Tracy Taylor each logged one semester of perfect spelling. Red Cross in Cincinnati offers a volunteer instructor training session May 16 from 9 am to 3 30 pm at 720 Sycamore St. Call 579 3080 for details. Core Curriculum is required for teaching in Red Cross Nursing and Health programs, covering teaching methods, communication, and policies.
