Smooth Change Over At Harrison Senior Center
Members of the Harrison Senior Site Council attended Harrison City Council on April 19 to applaud the smooth transition of the senior center from Lower Rivers. The center, now self run after declining a $4,000 Community Chest match, faces transport and schedule challenges as bus trips for seniors run within a four hour window. Mayor Archie Mason said he would consult Easy Riders to address the transportation issue affecting morning choir and band practices and afternoon participation.
