Thunderstorms Cause Heavy Damage in Harrison Area
Storms lashed the tri state last Friday with 50 mph winds causing mobile home destruction and roof damage to homes and businesses in Harrison. A tree fell on Margie Dearwester’s home. the family escaped unharmed. Harrison Building and Loan donated 3000 to sponsor a field in the junior baseball league at Campbell Road.

Mobile Home Destroyed By Fire On Pepper Town Road
A mobile home 12 by 50 feet along Pepper Town Road was destroyed by a fire reported before 7 a.m. on Sunday March 31. Investigators from New Trenton Volunteer Fire Department and Dearborn County Fire Investigation Team, led by Sgt. Richard Bower, are probing the start point. The trailer had no utilities and was vacated with occupants not present. the home was on land contract from Norman Kaiser to Larry Liefferman.
