Edward C Brant of Chillicothe Ohio was struck by a street car during a Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen convention in Milwaukee and sustained internal injuries.
In Toronto Steubenville, Frank Davis of New Jersey was fatally shot inside Carson's saloon by Thomas Kirk, a local glass blower. After a dispute outside, the shooting inside occurred without provocation.
