PUCO Inspects Medina County Trucks Tickets 282
An eight man PUCO inspection team stopped trucks at two Medina rest stops May 15 and May 19 and issued 282 tickets. Violations included 27 for log delays, 15 for missing insurance certificates, 16 for no tax decals, four bulkhead failures, and six unauthorized routes. Additional issues were improper markings, unauthorized passengers, and a missing driver’s medical certificate. The operation, first summer of multi man checks, is led by John T. Gordon with inspectors from across Ohio.
