Medina County hosts a public forum on the four most common heart disease questions Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. at the County Administration Building. Speakers from Medina Community Hospital answer audience questions in a community service by the American Heart Association.

The Medina Community Hospital has applied for state approval to expand its Coronary Care Intensive Care Unit. The project costs about $359,970 and aims for completion by December 31, 1978. Review will be conducted by the Metropolitan Health Planning Corporation in Cleveland for Medina County.

Brunswick Hills Township Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to five fires in April including four grass fires. They logged ten hours of rescue calls, traveled 188 miles, with 32 responders and 14 victims assisted. Six were transported to Medina Community Hospital and three to Southwest General Hospital.
