Sunrise Rotary inducts new president in Medina
Medina Sunrise Rotary held a Tuesday morning ceremony at Mugrage Park to induct Kent Morgan as incoming president. Dr. Shail Jain, Ohio Rotary District 6630 assistant governor, officiated as Kevin Wermer passed the gavel. Morgan, former Buckeye Schools superintendent, assumes duties Thursday.

Medina police logs list multiple incidents from June 12 to June 28 including driving under suspension citations on Lafayette Road and Independence Drive, a warrant arrest, a female overdose at Lafayette Road and Medina Hospital transport, a license not in possession incident, a reported child neglect, a toy gun firing at an apartment, a drunken driving arrest with 0.207 percent BAC after a wreck off Weymouth and Fenn, another overdose transport on Eastpointe Drive, and a Dodge Challenger last seen on Medina Road.

Stolen Car Turns Up in Lawrence Township Mud
Police traced a stolen vehicle to Lawrence Township near Massillon after it was found stuck in mud by officers. The car was towed to impound. later incidents include stops for no license plate light, driving on a temporary permit, speeding, and a marijuana find. A separate June 16 19 11 incident involved meat theft, June 17 trespass notice, and a June 19 arrest-linked stop for OVI and license suspension. One store complaint involved a person unhappy with a hot wheel order and a damaged box.

Lawsuits Grow Over OSU Doctor Abuse Allegations
