Shorewood Granted Variance for Early Footers
Shorewood condominiums behind Golden Villas win a conditional variance from the Board of Building Code of Appeals. The deal allows pouring footers before roads and utilities per city ordinance to meet Columbia Gas requirements that basements be ready by Oct 1 for gas eligibility. Fifteen two and three bedroom apartments are planned near North Huntington Street. The written agreement will limit pouring to footers before utility installation.
