Area Deaths Lean toward Childhood Loss and Local Ties
Heidi Hyatt 10 died Tuesday after a long illness. Daughter of Bradley and Patricia Hyatt, she was a Spring Texas resident and Medina granddaughter. Services held in Fort Myers. Emily Gardner of Chippewa Lake died this morning in Medina Community Hospital. She leaves two sisters and two brothers with services pending at Kindig Funeral Home and St Francis Xavier Church.

Medina Grand Jury Indicts 13 in Murder and Larceny Cases
Thirteen persons were indicted by the Medina County grand jury on charges from nonsupport to second degree murder. Allen Robishaw faces murder charges for the death of Marion C. Lewis, with Lewis killed March 31 after three bullet wounds. Multiple Medina residents are indicted on grand larceny and breaking and entering counts, along with counts of burglary related offenses. Three secret indictments were issued, with names to be released upon arrest.

Rt. 162 Collision Injures Three
Medina reports three people injured in a Wednesday collision on Route 162 at the CR 44 junction. Dale Lawerence 47 of Wadsworth stopped at the 162 intersection and pulled into the path of an eastbound car driven by Harvey Esterle 27 of Wadsworth. Linda Esterle 26 of Wadsworth and Mary Reynolds 70 of Port Richey were also injured. None were hospitalized. Lawerence cited for failure to yield right of way.
