Beloved lights return for 34th year in Wad sworth display
Wad sworth resident Paul Rudolph marks his 34th annual Christmas light show in his front yard begun in 1989. He designed 50 to 60 displays including 15 under pine trees and a new scripted Merry Christmas on the garage roof. The LEDs withstand 50 mph winds, animated and non animated pieces attract nightly traffic on South Medina Line Road as neighbors stop to enjoy the holiday scene.

Winter Storm Elliott Hits Medina County With High Winds
The storm brought several inches of snow and wind gusts up to 65 mph. Medina County declared a level 1 emergency and Wadsworth issued a snow emergency parking ban. Medina County Job and Family Services moves toward state certification of the Ohio START program after completing more than 30 cases. Ohio START assists families affected by substance use disorder and child maltreatment. The program began as a pilot in 2017, created by then Attorney General Mike DeWine, and has expanded to over 50 counties, with Medina starting in April 2020.
