Suit challenges Cleveland move in water fund borrowing
The suit filed in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court accuses Mayor Dennis Kucinich and Utilities Director Louis Corsi of irresponsibility in allowing 17.8 million dollars to be borrowed from the waterworks construction fund. The loan, arranged in May to ease cash flow, must be repaid by October 6. Corsi and Finance Director Joseph Tegreene say the action will not delay needed water system improvements.
