Bullet Train review focuses on style over depth
A fast paced Tokyo to Kyoto ride with Brad Pitt and an international cast chasing a briefcase amid a flurry of stylized action. The film emphasizes slick visuals and kinetic set pieces but offers shallow storytelling with archetypal characters and minimal deeper meaning.

Bullet Train lacks a true hero despite flashy style
The film features The Father The Elder and others as misfired vessels for a chaotic ride. Strong violence and humor clash with hollow characters and a dated tone. The bright visuals entertain briefly but the finale devolves into noise, leaving little lasting value.
