A grey haired unidentified man about 55 plunged from a tenth floor ledge of a downtown Los Angeles office building into a parking lot. The Women’s Missionary Society of St Pauls Lutheran Church Dallas R-1 will install new officers Sunday at 7 30 pm with candlelight. Guest speaker is Mrs F M Speagle from Cherryville, who will lead the installation. Circle leaders are listed and 28 life memberships will be presented.
SAN ANTONIO Texas five men were killed in two B 29 crashes near Randolph Air Force Base. One crew survived and four were injured. The crash occurred about a mile south of the base during a student transition period. The incident followed a three day meeting announcing the merger of Evangelical and Reformed with the Congregational Christian Church. The United Church of Christ is formed to take effect June 25 1957.
