Jersey City officials including Police Justice Kruse Police Commissioner Edmond and Commissioner Gregory faced arraignment in Hudson quarter sessions on malfeasance bribery and embezzlement charges. All defendants were released on bail to answer indictments.
Robbins was convicted of violating internal revenue laws and sentenced to one year in prison and a two thousand dollar fine plus costs. He has served his term and was released on a writ of habeas corpus while a motion to remit the fine and costs is pending. the case remains in progress.
