Serious Runaway on Carthage Road injures Meyer family
Henry Meyer of Stall & Meyer and his sister with four children and a young lady friend rode in a carriage when a horse fell near Green street. The frightened horse ran away dragging the carriage, overturning it and throwing occupants under it. Two colored men stopped the horse. All except two boys sustained serious injuries and were taken home on East Walnut Hills after medical aid arrived.
