Cheap Boarder Deceived Boardhouse Keepers in Cincinnati
A man named Taylor Ridgeway alias Chas. Taylor posed as a coal office employee and boarded at multiple houses paying with coal. After the proprietors checked he did not exist in any coal office, Officer Parks intervened and Judge Straub arranged a month of cheap board at the Workhouse. Taylor claimed he might be mistaken for his brother, but the defense failed. Transfers of Real Estate follow with several property moves listed. July 2 Cincinnati reports include estate transfers and July 4 concert plans by the Germania Band at Eden and Washington Parks.
